David Bloom is a high performance business/management consultant who invested his first 25 years in business as a line manager, including stints as CEO/President of 5 different companies. After graduating from the University of Michigan and Harvard Business School, Dave spent 15 years at Herman's World of Sporting Goods, eventually becoming the CEO of a $700 million retailer at the age of 36. His next 10 years were spent exclusively with Venture Capital-funded companies, doing turnarounds on distressed companies or start ups. His strength has always been the ability to turnaround or build a management team.

Dave has been on ten different Boards as a Director, but usually as an "operational" director, spending more time with the company than a quarterly meeting.

Dave has two grown children, and lives with his wife, Christie, in New Jersey.
